SHORT ENTRIES, EARLY SUMMER 2004

Hello all,
There's a reason my show tomorrow at the Sidewalk Cafe has gone unannounced--I have in fact been laid up sick for almost a week now, and while I am feeling better than I was, I'm unfortunately still stuck with this hacking cough that makes singing difficult and unpleasant. Word on the street is that there's some sort of bug going around. Well, friends, methinks I've got it. Therefore, tomorrow night's performance at the Sidewalk is now canceled. My apologies, if you were planning on coming out.

They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and I hope that this is true. For I will not be playing again here in NYC until Friday, September 10, at the Living Room (showtime 7:45pm)--so mark the date in your calendars in deep red ink, and let your hearts swell with fondness 'til then.

News of my sojourn to the West Coast, and a couple shows I'll be doing while I'm over there, is forthcoming. Just need another day or two to get well. Hope none of you have caught this thing--it sucks.

Dear friends and new Jason Brody fans,
First of all, I want to thank all of you who made it out to Sin-e last Friday--you made our night, and I can only hope you had half as good of a time as Bob, Jeff, and I did. Hopefully, we'll see you all again very soon.

My sincerest apologies for the mysterious absence of copies of my debut album, To the Quick, as well as a mailing list, at the show. Albums are once again available, so if you were keen on getting a copy then, you can easily do so by visiting the Music page on this site. Or, you can come out to the Sidewalk Cafe on Thursday, July 29, at 9pm--my last New York show of the summer--where you'll be able to purchase the record as well. Again, sorry for the mixup.

A bit of news: It looks as though I'll be headed out to California next month for a spell. I'll offer up a more thorough report on that later as things materialize.

Hi all,
Please please join us at Sin-e on Friday, July 16, at 7:45pm. Bob, Jeff, and I will be celebrating our one-year band anniversary, and we hope to have a few new tricks up our sleeves, as well as some revamped old tricks. Come out and see us!

Hey everyone,

Finally, I have learned how to update my site all by myself, so you'll be hearing a lot more from me in the days to come. For now, I just want to thank everyone who made it out to the Living Room a couple of weeks ago. Bob, Jeff, and I had a blast, and you all seemed to be having a pretty good time as well. More later.
