"Young singer/songwriter Jason Brody has a lovely voice and a knack for writing brilliant songs. There are shades of Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright without the cabaret in his music.
'Angel on Earth' is a sensitive, restrained number that lovingly compares a girl to an angel without seeming cheesy. 'Come to Life' is a sweet little number that ebbs and flows with Brody's angelic voice. 'Circuitry' is a marvelous song with a sophisticated arrangement, Brody echoes Buckley in his less flashy moments. 'I Am the World' is a scarily obessive song that plays to Brody's strengths and allows him not just to be the sensitive guy. 'You were nothing before you were mine' he sings.
'Midnight Stroll' is a little more up and all the better for it.
It's a strong debut by the gifted Brody."
